The firm has offices in the suburbs of Box Hill and Preston in Melbourne. Its expertise extends over a wide area of the law to include commercial, corporations and property law, family, personal injury, criminal, migration law and litigation.

The principal of the firm is Mr. James Fernandez who holds a degree in law from the University of London and is a Barrister-at-Law of Lincoln’s Inn London. He is admitted to the Supreme Court of Malaysia and the Supreme Court of Victoria in 1978 as a barrister and solicitor. Mr. Fernandez began his career in law in Malaysia with his late brothers Jeffery and Gerald Fernandez where he practiced for eight years before migrating to Australia. Mr. Fernandez was one of the earliest lawyers to do migration work since 1980 and he subsequently became a migration Agent in 1992.

The associate of the firm is Mr Harjit Singh Pannu. Mr Pannu graduated from the University of Wales and was admitted to the High Court of Malaysia and the Supreme Court of Victoria as a barrister and solicitor. Mr Pannu began his career in Malaysia and practiced for more than 13 years as an Advocate and Solicitor before migrating to Australia. Mr Pannu is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and Migration Institute of Australia.

The firm also has an experienced clerk in conveyancing and probate law, Sonia Hadjifotis. She has over 30 years of experience in the legal industry.
